This place is absolutely amazing the atmosphere & the service is 100% key when you go out & they have both, we were seated in the back welcoming with fantastic Christmas decorations & service felt very homey drinks good food good vibe good 100% will be back below are some photos from f my visit, hummus plate & drinks also got pizza which was yummy. Love this place! Drove by it for years and decided to go after an acquaintance suggested going and checking it out. The vibe when you first walk in is chill and the bartender/staff are very friendly. Theres a nice sofa area in the back of the bar with a fireplace. The floor to ceiling windows makes the place nice and bright. Because of the size of the place, it’s more of an intimate setting so don’t plan to bring a large group. Ordered the musubi bowl and the Tom Kha Gai and also tried the Baked Jalapeno poppers. All were delicious-definitely worth getting. For dessert, go with the Espresso Creme Brulee. You’re missing out if you don’t get this dessert!
Thirsty Hound Drinkery is a wonderful place! I’ve had their flatbread, Thai Chicken, Jalapeno Poppers, Smoked Salmon Fettucini, Caprese Salad, and everything I’ve had was just right! It is clean, fresh, and delicious! Everyone who works here has smile and warmth. No wonder.. this is a family owned place!
Wanted to explore a new bar in the UP area and saw they had loco moco. Honestly, after experiencing many loco mocos for many years, this one is by far the BEST I had. Why? Each and every part of the dish absolutely did not disappoint. I have experienced dry beef patty, but this one hit the spot!!
Our experience was top of the line last night!! Eric & Collin were so friendly, welcoming, and made us feel like special. The Tom Kha Gai was MIND-BLOWING. The drinks were so tasty! And the prices for everything were very affordable- hard to find a place nowadays where the food & drinks are worth what restaurants are charging. We will be back regularly!
An absolute WONDER of a bar. The food was wonderful and freshly made, the staff was polite, helpful, and a joy to talk to, the bar was clean and lively, and even the other patrons were great to be around! The prices are standard for the time/area, but it's well worth every penny! I personally had their THD Burger and it was delicious, plus an order of their fresh Jalapeno Poppers! (You'll have to wait 20 minutes for them, but they are *so insanely worth it*) I can't wait to become a regular here!
There aren’t many places like this any more. Visiting from out of town and looking for an unassuming, cozy, nice small bar with great good and excellent service? This is it. Smallish bar but great for date night or a small group of friends. Seems like a neighborhood favorite. I came in an hour before closing and despite the kitchen having closed for the night, the folks here took the time to make me something great to eat. Maybe they saw the famished look on my face haha. I’ll be coming back here for sure.
This is a great bar with very good food. I ordered the Blackberry Whiskey Smash cocktail, this drink was amazing. Then I ordered the Loco Moco entree, the dish was exceptional. The servers were outstanding. I left something at the bar, and the staff quickly left the bar and returned my item. This was such an amazing experience, I will definitely return.
